Social Studies
Students completed the career activity they started with Mrs. Skaggs earlier in the week. Using the information they learned about themselves, students researched future career options on a website (www.my.careergame.com). We'll use their results in our globalization unit to see how many of the jobs we found will still be available for students in the future. After finishing with Mrs. Skaggs, we came back to the room and started the CNS assignment on China that we started in our last class. The CNS assignment is due on Tuesday.
Literature
Students worked on an assignment on conflict in literature - they needed to show that they understood how an author uses conflict as a series of "high points" to move the plot and/or theme in a story.
