Social Studies
We spent quite a bit of time discussing current events today, specifically the events in Egypt and the Middle East. Because our discussion lasted so long, we didn't get as far in our assignment as yesterday's classes. We started reading an article on how technology and globalization and the effects they have on America's economy. We didn't finish, and we'll finish in class next Wednesday.
Literature
We had FVR one last time today. This is the last time we'll have silent reading until after the PAWS assessment (March 10th). I also showed the students a sample of their next Letter Essay, which is also due on March 10th. Check back on this post (or another post) for a sample of what goes into the Letter Essay.
